We ask that you read and accept the following Terms and Conditions when booking your wedding with us. Please note that the following are in place to ensure a seamless professional service from the hotel
In consideration to all our guests’ satisfaction, the smooth running of your special day and to inspire confidence from all sides we require your adherence to the following terms and conditions;
All bookings are considered provisional until the hotel has received a deposit of €1000.00.Regrettably deposits are non-refundable. A further payment of €2000 is required six months before the date of the reception. The outstanding balance must be settled in full on departure
It is the hotels policy that accounts are settled the day of the wedding or the following day before departure by Bankers draft, Cash or Bank Transfer. We regret Cheques will not be accepted.
In the event of cancellation all deposits paid are non-refundable. Cancellations less than 3 months before the date will incur 75% of the Wedding Cost. In the case of the event being cancelled up to 30 days before the event, the cancellation will be charged at 100% of the Wedding Costs including Bedroom Rate charges.
All rates included in this folder correspond to 2010 only and are subject to annual and seasonal review. The selected menu and guest numbers must be advised to the hotel 30 days before the date of the event.
Quotations provided at the time of booking are subject to a proportionate increase to meet increased cost of food, beverages, or other operational costs such as commodity prices, labour costs, taxes or currency values at the time of function if quoted than 12 months in advance. Prices agreed with the Wedding Co-ordinator however on time of paying deposit will be honoured in totality unless there is a significant drop in wedding function guest numbers
Final numbers must be advised to the hotel 48 hours in advance of reception. The final number submitted to the hotel at this time will be the minimum numbers charged. Increase in numbers will be charged accordingly.
The seating plan (if one is present) must be presented to the hotel 48 hours in advance of the event.
Minimum numbers of guests for Friday and Saturday Weddings are 100.
It is not permitted to bring additional food or beverages for consumption onto the premises. Hygiene regulations demand that all food consumed be prepared on the premises.
We try to be as competitive as possible on wine tariffs (see wine list) and therefore do not recommend corkage. If required, corkage will be charged at half the price of our House Wine at the time of occasion and is non negotiable. We have endeavoured to provide the best value possible and source wines direct to cut out intermediary costs for certain wines. Corkage on Champagne is charged at €20 per bottle.
A Bar Exemption, if required, must be requested 3 months in advance through the Courts and a charge of €460 will apply.
It is not permitted to attach pictures, posters or temporary structures to the interior walls of the hotel or to block fire escapes with the same.
The hotel although providing advice and contact information, cannot take responsibility for booking entertainment. All entertainment booked must have approval of the hotel management.
Accommodation- for 2010, we will hold the following block booking of bedrooms for your wedding guests at a guaranteed reduced rate; on weddings of over 200, 20 bedrooms will be held for your guests at a reduced rate of €99per room based on 2 persons sharing. On weddings of under 150, 10 bedrooms will be held at a reduced wedding rate of €99 per room based on 2 persons sharing. Single Occupancy will be charged at a rate of €75. Triple Occupancy or subsequent adult occupancy will be charged at a rate of €30 per subsequent adult and €15 per subsequent child. Management of these bookings will be discussed during the planning process. All rooms must be secured with a deposit and a rooming list should be supplied to the hotel 14 days in advance of the wedding. Rooms not allocated by this time will be automatically released. All other rooms will be sold at published rates.
Accommodation must be accompanied by a deposit of €30 per person at the time of booking as standard policy.
Check in time for residents is in from 3.00pm onwards, check out time is strictly 12 noon. The hotel will endeavour to provide a changing room for guests arriving earlier but this cannot be guaranteed.
Prices agreed are contingent on Wedding reception guest numbers not dropping below a certain level agreed with the wedding co-ordinator. A significant drop in guest numbers will result in a reviewed price in menu etc
Prices on ‘All Inclusive Packages’ cannot be waived in any way and are wholly non negotiable, highly discounted rates are already embedded into the package
The hotel cannot be held responsible for gifts, personal items, cards or monetary items at the hotel reception. The hotel recommends that a member of the bridal party is made responsible for the collection and storage of such items. Hotel safes are in all bedrooms.
The hotel has the right to refuse acceptance of a booking that in Managements opinion may prejudice the reputation of the hotel.
