We follow on to Slane Castle one of Irelands most important stately homes which has been home to the Conngham family for over 300 years! A brief journey then to head towards Trim Castle which starred in the Hollywood block buster Brave Heart with Mel Gibson. And lastly we go to see the Hill of Tara where Irish Myth, Legend and History meet.

Pick up from the Headfort Arms Hotel where we will start off in Kells here we will visit the Market Cross which is a ninth century cross which originally would have been located at the gate of the Kells Monastery. We will continue to the Tower of Kells and on to Loughcrew Cairns which is the largest complex of passage graves in Ireland. We then head to Trim Castle which starred in the Hollywood blockbuster Brave Heart. The last leg of our journey takes us to Bective Abbey which is the remains of the second Cistercian Monastery founded in Ireland
